Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the My Collabs app (at mycollabs.in/app) and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, email mycollabssupport@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect
When you sign in
You sign in with your Google account. We receive your name, email address, profile photo and a unique account ID from Google. We never see your Google password.
Information you enter
For each collaboration you add, we store what you type in: the collaboration name, its status, the agreed amount, amounts received, deliverables, start, delivery and payment dates, and, if you choose to add them, the client's email address and phone number. We also record when each entry was created and last updated.
Technical information
Like any online service, the Google systems that run My Collabs process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, so they can deliver the service and keep it secure.
2. What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- The app doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers, and it shows no ads. Ads appear only on this website (see section 8).
- We don't read your collaboration data except when you ask us to help with a problem, or when the law requires it.

4. Where it's stored and who can access it
My Collabs runs on Google Firebase. Your collaboration data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore in the Mumbai, India region. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, a Google service that may process data in other countries. Google acts as our service provider; its terms and privacy commitments for Firebase are at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Security rules on our database allow each signed-in user to read and write only their own collaborations. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google.
We share information only with these service providers, or when the law requires it.
5. Your clients' contact details
If you add a client's email or phone number, it's used only to show it back to you inside the app. Please add only details you have a legitimate reason to keep.
6. Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays in your account until you delete it. You can delete any collaboration in the app at any time.
To delete your whole account and everything in it, email mycollabssupport@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with. We'll delete your account and data within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to have a complaint addressed. To do any of these, email us at the address above. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. This website and advertising
This website shows ads provided by Google AdSense. The My Collabs app itself shows no ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where the law requires it (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area or the UK), we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent message.
This website doesn't use its own analytics. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to serve pages and protect against abuse.
9. Children
My Collabs is meant for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll show a notice on this website.
